Challenge: The Pacific Coast Highway otherwise known as PCH is a major north to south highway that runs on the coast of California. This pocket-sized travel guide is meant to be a quick read with helpful tips on where to stay, where to eat and how to get around each city. The challenge for this travel guide was curating content within strict guidelines. Such as the publication size, minimal content length, and imagery. It was essential to create a cohesive visual communication and voice using layout design and photography.

Solution: By creating a cohesive visual language it made the navigation of the travel guide simple and allowed them to focus the essentials they needed. Design elements in this publication include typography, layout design, and photography. Each photograph was thoroughly selected to coincide with the visual language. Social media was also included to allow customers to share their experiences with each other creating an open forum.
